Ingrained Pattern

a body folding into itself. One form that is also another. The same, and not the same.

Heat trembles. The frame holds. But what is held escapes.

A pattern insists. Not drawn, not chosen engraved by the act of becoming.

The body repeats itself, but each time different. Merging, unmerging. An image that burns and vanishes, at once.

Between capture and fire, the body is its own disappearance.
